Kevin Taylor has played drums in hard rock cover bands in bars and nightclubs since he was 15 years old. His first cover/original band was called Sinitar. In the 80’s he played drums in a cover/original band named Stripper. They played all over the Champaign and Vermillion County area including the old Mabels in Champaign. In 1995 he helped form the band Krush, (now known as X-Krush) as their original drummer. After a few years be became the drummer for Trouble IS. He was also known by his stage name aka: Tommy Rockett. Kevin has most recently has been the drummer in another Champaign area cover band called Anger Management.

He has opened up for Bullet Boyz, Enuff-Z-Nuff, and Jackyl

Kevin has also helped write and record several originals in his bands Sinitar, Stripper, and an all original side Project band named Kill Devil. He also recorded drum tracks on a punk project called the Knox Project. Knox is the singer for band, the Vibrators from England. Kevin spent time in the Mirage Drum Corp on snare alongside one of his best friends Ken Jay Lacey. Ken is Ken Jay who is the original drummer from Static-X. Kevin’s influences are John Henry "Bonzo" Bonham from Led Zepplin, and Tommy Aldridge from Ozzy and Whitesnake.
